Donovan & Rene Martin

This one grew over time, the way the best relationships do. It began with Rene's engagement ring — inspired by Donovan's grandmother's cherished ring, and reworked in 18ct white and yellow gold around a flawless oval Diamond flanked by two more.

When it came time for the wedding bands, we got to design for them both. Donovan's is a study in contrast: smooth, refined yellow gold set against white gold left deliberately raw and rugged — two textures, two temperaments, one band. Rene's is its quiet counterpoint — a sleek two-Diamond band that nestles seamlessly against her engagement ring.

Together the pieces do exactly what they were meant to: hold tradition and individuality in the same hand.
